Now Is The Moment Of Power

This means living in the present instead of living through memories of the past or fantasizing about the future. This moment is the only moment you create. You can’t change what has happened in the past, only your perceptions of it. Dreaming of the future can be time wasted because you can be so consumed by those dreams that you don’t live the present. The future is always the future. And the past is past. The power you have to create your reality is right now. Not when you win the lotto, not next year, not next week, not tomorrow, not in an hour, but now, right this very second.

To Love Is To Be Happy With

Aloha.

Many people believe that the word aloha simply means hello and goodbye. When translated, Aloha means “to love is to be happy with”. In any relationship, with anyone you love, it brings you happiness. When you feel anything other than happiness, it’s fear or anger causing those feelings. You don’t get hurt from being in love. You get hurt from fear. People talk of “uncondistional love” as if it is some rare type of love. Love IS unconditional. Anything else, is not love, but fear, anger, criticism, etc. When we feel those things, as in the third principle, energy flows there and creates what we fear. If we feel love, if we send out love, we will receive love, we will create love. And to love is to be happy with. What a wonderful custom it is to bless a person with love upon greeting them and again when leaving. Love is what the “aloha spirit” is all about.

Aloha .

Energy Flows Where Attention Goes

Energy will flow to where our attention is directed. If we direct our attention to the negative things in our lives, even if we are wanting to get rid of those things, then energy will flow to and feed those negative things. Whereas if we concentrate on how we want things, the positive things that we may not have yet, then energy will flow and manifest them. Even in directing attention to the postive things you desire, it’s important for it to be in the present, not the future. “I want *fill in the blank*” or “I’m going to get *fill in the blank*” emphasizes your lack of. “I have *fill in the blank*” or “I am *fill in the blank*” is effective because your thoughts create; they are energy, and they will create the lack if those are the terms you think of them in, as they will also create the present, if you think in those terms instead.

My favorite story that pertains to this principle is written by Serge Kahili King, who wrote the books Urban Shaman (I highly recommend), and Instant Healing. The story is called Purple Feathers . In it, he describes an experiment he does at a workshop he is giving. The people in the workshop chose something fairly unusual and random to meditate on as a group. The object chosen was a purple feather. They meditated for several minutes with no expectations and then moved on.

Over the next 3 days every single person in the group of 14, had a purple feather show up in some way, shape or form. From the design on the hotel bedspread, to finding 2 actual purple feathers on the floor, everyone had a purple

There Are No Limits

We are all one. Each of us is connected to everything else in existence. Every thought process has an effect. When we feel hatred towards somebody, we are feeling hatred for ourselves. We are creating that energy within ourselves. We cannot love another until we love ourselves. By blessing others and understanding that everyone is where they need to be, we bless ourselves. When we bring that light into ourselves, we bring it into our reality, into our every day existence, the people we touch and the things we experience.

The only limits are the ones we impose on ourselves, and we create these based on our memories, our emotions, our fears, etc. This is directly tied to principle number 1 that the world is what we think it is. The limits we own are what we think they are. Nobody else owns our limits because they create their own limits based on their memories, emotions, fears, etc.

The World Is What You Think It Is

The world is what we think it is. We create our own reality. The world is how we see it filtered through our thoughts, our memories, our fears, our hurts, our expectations, our beliefs. Our thoughts create our world. If you and I have the exact same experience, we will not see it the same way. My reality is different from yours and there are as many realities as there are people on this planet. We can’t change our reality outside until we change our thought patterns inside. If we do, anything is possible.

If you want to change your life, change your mind.
